How to play
- Unplug the blender. They drop each piece of fruit into the jug.
- They pour in the milk, with your hand on the cup.
- Lid on, plug in, and count down together: “3, 2, 1!” You press the button.
- Pour two cups and say “cheers”.
Fit it to your child
- Easier: They drop in soft banana slices while you add the rest.
- Harder: Before blending, they guess the color and whether it will be thick or runny, then add more milk and see what changes.
Words to use
- drop
- pour
- mix
- lumpy
- smooth
- count
Why it helps
They watch lumpy fruit and milk turn into one smooth drink of a new color, and seeing how things change when they mix is early science.
Grown-up eyes: Keep the blender unplugged while they add things. Only you press the button. Cut berries in half if they nibble them.
